"Gwan Through"
Recording artist Atiba Ishamali returns with "GWAN THROUGH," the second single from his forthcoming album LOVE VIBRATION, delivering a heavy rhythmic reggae recording inspired by the timeless sound and feeling of Lovers Rock.
Driven by an infectious rhythm, warm melodies and an engaging chorus, "Gwan Through" explores love, self-respect and the importance of reciprocation in relationships.
New Fire Single
"What you won't do, another man will do."
The familiar sentiment forms the foundation of a song about a woman who understands her worth and refuses to settle for a relationship lacking consistency, communication and mutual respect.
Rather than focusing on material expectations, the record celebrates the qualities that help sustain meaningful partnerships: friendship, emotional presence, understanding and the willingness to return the love one receives.
The message is one of balance, recognizing that both partners have a responsibility to nurture the relationship they share.
A Song With A Journey
"Gwan Through" was originally written by Ishamali over a production by Dynamic for a project involving DJs Walshy Fire and Mega, connected to an album for legendary reggae vocalist Cocoa Tea.
Although the song was not included on that album, Ishamali contributed to other recordings made by Cocoa Tea for the project, an experience he considers an honor and a meaningful moment in his musical journey.
Years later, "Gwan Through" was revisited, reproduced and recorded for LOVE VIBRATION, giving the song a new musical home.

The LOVE VIBRATION album honors the legacy of my father's sound system, established in Duhaney Park, Kingston 20, during the early 1980s. It was built with the intention of bringing people together through music, regardless of the divisions surrounding them.
Today, I'm continuing that intention through music that tells honest stories while contributing to the culture that shaped us.
If the vibration connects with you, I'd be honored to have your support through your sets, radio rotation or platforms.
The Invitation
We would be honored to have "Gwan Through" considered for your radio rotation, DJ sets, playlists or cultural programming.
Thank you for your time, your consideration and your continued contribution to the music and culture.
Respect & Love,
Atiba Ishamali
